I have officially woken from my winter hibernation and am once again gracing the interwebs with my presence. It is by no means a coincidence that this rebirth coincides with a number of exciting happenings in my life:
1) I got a ton of really good Xmas presents (See: Burberry scarf!!) that have become absolute staples in my wardrobe and I'm super excited about sharing them with you.
2) One of those really exciting Xmas presents was a tripod for my camera! Hopefully I can get that 3-legged puppy up and ready so that the grainy, yellowed iPhone photos will be a thing of the past.
3) Oh, that reminds me. I upgraded my phone so even if the tripod fails me at least the photos won't be soooo crappy.
4) Tomorrow is one of my all-time favorite days of the year and it seems like the perfect event to get the blogging back on a roll: Lodi's Wine & Chocolate Weekend!! To me, this event signals that winter is over and it's time to drink. It's going to be a fun one, friends!
5) Finally, I'm pretty obsessed with the outfit I'm wearing today and it's practically begging to be put on the blog. So here we go....
Sweater: GAP (Similar) - Jeans: Old Navy (Shop) - Scarf: Burberry - Shoes: DSW - Watch: MK (Shop) - Bracelet: t&j Designs (Shop) - Sunglasses: Ray Ban "Bubble Wrap" Aviators (Shop) |
It took me a while to get the courage to wear these red pants but now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. They are fabulous! As long as I stick with classic neutrals for the rest of the outfit I feel safe and timeless and very Kate-esque.
What do you think of bright red pants? Would you wear them?
I think my big caboose gets enough attention, plus I have these huge thunder trunk legs.... I'm sure they would look great on a petite figure like yourself though!! :) Enjoy the weekend! Sounds fun!
